The ongoing re-carpeting of Kinyajui road to Satellite has raised mixed reaction to the residents of Dagoreti from the post on Dagoretti South Watch Facebook page by Julius Gitonga,who is the ward security attached to Dagoretti South member of parliament Honorable John Kiarie for the perfect lobbying.
Julius Gitonga went ahead to attach the photos showing the good job that is taking place.

It is true that the construction is ongoing but under the Nairobi metropolitan services (NMS) which is in the plans to complete re-carpeting and tarmacking king of roads in the city center and surrounding areas by December.

The project is done by Kenya urban roads authority (KURA) that recently announced it would begin upgrading 408 kilometres of roads in the capital’s informal settlements before the end of this month.
The Sh5.8 billion projects, which the NMS is part of, is expected to take advantage of the new asphalt plant.
Most roads in the city’s informal settlements get muddy when it rains and dusty during drought.
NMS has been carrying out an ambitious infrastructural project aimed at changing the face of the city.
However,the pictures used are old images which were taken in August during President Uhuru Kenyatta’s launch of the construction of Muthua medical center in Uthiru.
