Kenya’s leading communication company,Safaricom,has this month celebrated its 20th anniversary.

The company has in turn taken the chance to offer its customers a bag of goodies,including data bundles and cheaper call rates for the next 30 days.

However,there has been a message doing rounds on social media,claiming to be from the company and offering free Kshs.4,100 in the 20th anniversary celebration awards.

The message states that one is expected to click the provided link to know if they have been shortlisted for the offer.It also states that one will only get the cash after forwarding the same message to other WhatsApp groups.

The company has however,denied,through their  Twitter handle,that they have no such offer in their anniversary rewards.
