On Monday morning,Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko announced the death of former Nairobi County Secretary,Dr.Robert Ayisi. This was through his Instagram  page.

The governor went ahead to share his condolences.

Kenyans on social media were taken by surprise by the news and also shared their condolence messages.

Dr.Ayisi had been admitted at Mater Hospital in Nairobi where he was receiving treatment.However,his family has come out to clarify that he is still alive.Governor Mike Sonko has also retracted on his words.
