Dennis Waweru,who is currently the chairman of the Kenya Investment Authority(KenInvest),has for a long time served as a politician under the Jubilee Party.

However,earlier this week,a poster bearing his photo did rounds on social media,as it had a congratulatory message alleged to be from the ODM party.According to the poster,the former Dagoretti South MP had officially joined ODM.

A picture of him and some Kikuyu elders was also connected to the information on the poster.

However,when Mtaani Radio fact check desk  examined the message to detail,it turned out to be false.The picture with the Kikuyu elders emerged during his visit to Raila Odinga’s home,together with the pictured Kikuyu elders.
