West Pokot becomes the 5th county to passed the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment), Bill 2020.
West Pokot county assembly now becomes the first in the Rift Valley region, to pass the Bill paving way for the BBI referendum.
Nationally, other counties that have also pass the bill includes Busia, Siaya, Kisumu and Homa Bay county assemblies.
So far Only Baringo County has rejected the Bill during a chaotic session last week.
24 out of 47 counties are required to pass the Bill.
