Judges in the court of Appeal have elected Justice Daniel Musinga as their president.
Justice Musinga replaces Justice William Ouko who was last Friday sworn in as a judge of the Supreme Court.
Ouko was sworn in alongside Martha Koome, who took oath of office as Chief Justice.
Koome on Monday was handed over instrument of power from her predecessor lady Justice Philomena Mwilu.
In January, Musinga was appointed the chairman of the Judiciary Committee on Elections (JCE).
He took over from High Court judge Msagha Mbogholi.
