FALSE: EACC DETECTIVES DIDN’T RAID THE OFFICE OF LAWYER JOHN KHAMINWA

The video circulated on twitter and facebook saying that Suspected EACC detectives on Saturday stormed SC Dr John Khaminwa’s office in what the barrister believes was a “veiled attack” meant to frustrate advocates representing clients against the State. A Video of 6 minutes whereby Laywer John khaminwa narrating how the suspecting EACC detectives stormed his office.

However, the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has dismissed reports that it sent any police officers to the office of lawyer John Khaminwa in an alleged attempt to intimidate him over his submissions in the BBI appeal case.

EACC, in a series of statement on twitter, released on Sunday, said it did not even conduct any operation on Saturday when the reports emerged hence declaring them null and void.
