Waithaka senior chief Wesley Korir at Dagoretti south constituency has refute the claims that the government of Kenya is giving out Covid-19 support to the needy families.

Speaking to Mtaani radio, Korir term the move fake news spread through social media sites with an aim of misleading Kenyans. To certify his statement, Korir put to perspective that the office of the chief which has always been used on administrative purposes has not yet received such information. He warned the residents against persons who have intention to steam from them.

He said government administration is the main office structured to disseminate the government agenda to common mwananchi at grassroots level. Korir spoke to Mtaani Radio fact check desk after the link below surface in various social media platforms.
