Mtaani radio Fact check desk denounce claims going round on social media that Dagoretti south member of parliament, John KJ Kiarie was heckled and chased away while inspecting the almost done construction of Ngina Road. On Wednesday around 4pm the area MP was at the scene to ensure the contractor erect road bump from Naivasha road to Kahuho road where the construction was completed. Mtaani radio on the ground neither did him see nor witness the heckling. In fact he had a video of the area MP and twitted it on Mtaani radio official twitter handle;

Kiarie had visited the area to oversight construction that has been going on under patronage of Kenya urban road authority. According to a certain post shared on facebook site, (dagoreti south watch) claimed that the MP had rough times with the residents. These claims are false and misleading.
Mtaani Radio news desk concludes that the post was meant for political reasons. Instead Kiarie urged residents to focus on electing leaders who will champion for development in the constituency.
