There has been pictures of a woman jumping over the fence, the fence said to be of Kasarani police station. According to the post Kenyans on social media said that, the photo is of nominated senator Millicent Omanga who was escaping from police.
Nominated senator Millicent Omanga has distanced herself from social media reports suggesting she is the woman spotted jumping over a fence at night.
A viral picture of the said woman has circulated on social media in the past few days.
The said picture elicited suggestions the image was that of the politician who was running away from dogs and police officers at the Kasarani police station.
According to mwanzo the Kasarani police station’s fence does not look like the one captured in the viral image being shared on social media.
It was alleged that Omanga had to run for her life after dogs were unleashed on her for allegedly causing disturbance at the Kasarani police station.
The reports further alleged that the picture was taken at Kasarani police station when Omanga had gone to bail out her sister who had been taken into custody for violating curfew rules.
The vocal Nominated senator has however rubbished the rumors and said Kenya will experience tremors if she was to jump over any fence.
“Disregard the propaganda about me jumping over Kasarani police station fence. It is an idle rumor worth no one’s attention. Sincerely, how can I jump, over anything, let alone a high fence, without Kenya EXPERIENCING EARTH TREMOR?” OMANGA Posed.

Kasarani police boss Peter Mwanzo has separately denied the claims. He further explained that the said incident did not occur at Kasarani police station.
“I suspect the allegations are founded on a political rivalry that has, of late, gone online. Neither the senator nor her relative was booked as a detainee or visitor at the police station,” Mwanzo said.
The viral photo that is alleged to be of Millicent Omanga has been trending in South Africa.
According to fact check conducted by Mtaani Radio using an Image reverse engine, the photo is of a South African woman who has been trending in South Africa.
Kenyans took advantage of it because the South African woman resembles Nominated Senator Omanga.

The woman was trending in her motherland because of the viral photo of her jumping over the fence.
