One person has been confirmed dead following an accident that occurred Monday morning along kabiria road, between Kivuli centre and cabby center. This is after the driver of a personal car Toyota Isis lost control hitting three persons.

The other two were seriously injured and rushed to nearby health facilities. The driver was arrested and taken to Kabete police station for questioning. The body of the deceased have been taken to city morgue.

Eye witness have told Mtaani Radio that the middle age man might have been under influence. According to Kennito Msambati a boda boda rider told Mtaani radio that the car was being driven at a high speed before it lose control. He said the driver who is a middle age man tried his best but it was too late.

The accident which happened at around 9 am has left three victims two male and a female nursing serious injuries.

The body of the deceased was identify by family members. He was describe as a resident of shigo-ini kawangware. He was a business man dealing with plastics and utensils. His body was moved to city morgue awaiting postmortem.
