In the out-skirts of Rongai we meet with John Kenneth Kabiaro. He is the coach of Nkoroi FC. Nkoroi FC currently paricipate in FOOTBALL KENYA FEDERATION NAIROBI WEST COUNTY BRANCH league. After three matches Nkoroi top the league with 9 points. So far the coach is satisfied with the results, though he need his players to be mentally fit as the reginal league is going to be tougher.
With the aim of reaching divison two next season Nkoroi is taking each game at a time. Kenneth has always anticipated the good preparations of opponents. He said he is up to the task.
Kenneth said he will never underestimate their opponents. he said, ”So far our office is up to the task, FKF office is also organized, its like all the fixtures for the month of February is out. The only issue is that they have included matches that have already been played. That one will be reactify. Table standing we also see being released every week which is commendable, Said Kenneth”.
He Added, ”Our aim is if all goes well we gain promotion to division 2”.
Nkoroi trains every day from 5pm with an off day after match day at Arap Moi primary school. Nkoroi home ground is Nakeel grounds in Rongai.
Kenneth is optimism that the new adminstartion under the swewardship of President William Ruto will fulfil their promises to invest in sporting activities in the country.
On Sunday 12th february 2023 Nkoroi FC will travel to Kawangware grounds to play against Kawangware United starting at 3pm.
