The commission has disowned the poster.
This poster shared on Facebook advertising jobs and internships at Kenya’s Public Service Commission (PSC) is FAKE.
The poster was accompanied by a text claiming that PSC has 8,000 jobs on offer, with the requirement being; be a Kenyan citizen, have a Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, Certificate in any discipline or a form four certificate from a recognized institution.
Interested persons have been requested to send their applications to an email address provided on the poster before 14 August 2023.
Although the poster has PSC branding, it is not authentic due to inconsistencies such as use of a gmail address, yet the commission is a government entity and uses a “.go.ke” domain – https://publicservice.go.ke/
Additionally, we checked PSC’s website, Twitter and Facebook page but there was no such advertisement.
Instead, we found a statement dismissing the poster and asking Kenyans to disregard it.
