This photo posted on Facebook allegedly showing Keroka town in Kisii County is FALSE.
The photo depicts a six-lane highway and was accompanied by a text reading: “Keroka town, Kisii County. another fast growing town.”
To confirm if the photo was taken in Keroka, Kisii County, Mtaani Radio fact-checking desk performed a Google reverse image search and established that the original photo is of Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai. The photo was published by AutoJosh website on December 3, 2021.

As of September 2023, Kenya did not have a six-lane road, but reports indicate that there are plans to build several in future.
