President William Ruto’s warning was directed to cattle rustlers in the North Rift region of Kenya.
This video shared on Tiktok claiming that President William Ruto issued a warning to Azimio leader Raila Odinga is FALSE.
The video was accompanied by caption stating, “Ruto strong warning to Raila”
In the video, the president is heard saying “Mambo ni matatu uhame Kenya uende jela ama usafiri uende mbinguni (There are three things; either you leave Kenya, go to jail or travel to heaven),”
Mtaani Radio fact checking desk did a Google reverse image search on a screenshot from the video and established the orginal clip was shared on YouTube by Nation.
The video had a title “President William Ruto on cattle rustling in the North Rift region.”

It was taken as the president issued title deeds in Kabartonjo, Baringo County on 24 August 2023.
The address was also broadcasted live on State House Kenya and the president’s Facebook pages. (Start at 1:07:08)
