This photo shared on Facebook purportedly showing the Kericho-Kisumu road flyover at night is FALSE.
The image features a dual-carriageway and a roundabout connected together by several feeder roads.
“This is Kericho Kisumu Road flyover at Night. Pongezi (Congratulations) senator ML for lobbying mashujaa to be held in Kericho. Kericho is shining,” reads the post.
Mtaani Radio performed a Google reverse image search and established that the photo is of the 5km Waiyaki Way Red Hill Link road that connects James Gichuru Road and Limuru Road.
Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) posted the photo on its verified X account (formerly Twitter) on 25 September 2019 while giving an update on the road’s progress.
The image was also published on KURA’s website and Facebook page.
Mtaani Radio looked into a photo shared on Facebook claiming to be Kericho Kisumu road flyover at night and found it to be FALSE.
