This photo shared on X (formerly Twitter) claiming to show Bogeche Stadium in Kisii County is FALSE.
The image depicts what appears to be a football pitch located in the middle of a forest.
“Bogeche Stadium in Kisii County. This is the Kisii County which you don’t see on TV,” reads the post.
Mtaani Radio performed a Google reverse image search and established that the photo is of a stadium in Meshchersky Park, Moscow, Russia.
Shutterstock.com, a stock images site, published an image with similar features and indicated that it is of a football pitch in Moscow park Meshchersky.
We also performed a Google search for the keywords “Bogeche stadium Kisii county ” and established that there is no such stadium in Kisii County.
