The agency has disowned the advertisement. This Facebook post claiming to advertise data collection clerk jobs at World Vision Kenya is a HOAX.

The post purports that World Vision is seeking to recruit 1,200 data collection clerks to be stationed in Narok, Kericho, Bomet, Uasin Gishu, Nakuru and Kisumu counties.

The advert promises a salary of Sh2,000 per day for successful applicants.

Some of the listed requirements include a KCSE certificate, fluency in Kiswahili and English and to be computer literate.

To validate the job advert, Mtaani Radio checked World Vision Kenya website, but there was no such vacancy on its careers page.

We also checked Word Vision’s Facebook page and X account (formerly Twitter) for any such job advertisement, but there was none.

On 7 November 2023, World vision flagged a similar ad as fake and urged the public to disregard it.

“Beware of fake job advertisements doing the rounds on social media, websites and mass email messages. Kindly note that all our jobs are posted here.
