There has been a Facebook post claiming that Joshua Ladu from South Sudan is listed as the tallest man in the Guinness World Records.
The Facebook post, which also carries an image of a tall man, further claims that Ladu stands at 9.8 feet.
According to factcheck done by mtaani radio newsroom Joshua ladu is not the tallest maan in the world .
But is it true that Ladu is listed by the Guinness World Records as the tallest man in the world? We checked.
Mtaani radio newsroom searched for “Joshua ladu” on the Guinness World Records and discovered this name does not appear anywhere in the book of fame.
We then Googled the tallest man in the world as per the Guinness World records and found Robert Wadlow as the tallest man to ever have lived. When Wadlow was last measured on 27 June 1940, his height was 2.72 m (8 ft 11.1 inches).
