A 69 years old woman was stabbed to death by his 45-year-old son at Makindu Township Makindu Sub County Makueni County.

The woman succumbed to serious injuries on her chest and fore head inflicted by a kitchen knife.

The victim by the name Susan Mukonyo was taken to Makindu Sub County Hospital where she succumbed to the injuries while being attended to.

Confirming the incident Makueni County Commander Joseph Ole Naipeyan said, “the scenes of crime personnel from Makueni Headquarters have documented the evidence.”

He has also confirmed that the assailant by the name Joseph Kamwea was later pursued and later arrested by the police and is awaiting appearance in court.
